Hijirah Maker 2024: Renovatio Aborted

On 16 February 2024, Carissa and Lune received threatening messages from an account bearing the name "Hijirah Maker" and a UK telephone number.

Hijirah Maker was an identity used to send threats to Kenneth Jeyaretnam in 2013 and 2014 as part of an ISD operation:

Note that it is later discovered that Hijirah Maker is, in fact, an ISD team tasked to execute an operation against Kenneth Jeyaretnam due to his poking his nose too much and too far into the CPF monies matter. Hijirah Maker is part of Operation Providence – with the aim of making Kenneth Jeyaretnam’s family so afraid that he will be sufficiently busy with taking care of them, and thus discontinue his investigation into the CPF monies matter.

Furthermore, we are already aware of and have published the ISD's Qadar Team's Renovatio:

ISD’s Operation Qadar team is setting up, or has already set up, a new set of accounts to act as the Hijirah Maker and start harassing the Jeyaretnam family again. The accounts would be operated by Mercury Jamie Alice, as the ISD does not want the job to look “too professional”, as it may have in 2013 and 2014.

The profile picture on this "Hijirah Maker" account is cropped from a YouTube video still of Mao Sugiyama. The still has been used in multiple articles about Sugiyama's 2012 performance art banquet, where he cooked and served his genitals which had been removed by elective surgery.

Let me advice you stop doing nonsense and making more trouble for yourself with your endless public letters. You want write your nonsense letters, send them quietly, no need to publish and make an attention.

Mr Vickreman Harvey Chettiar is going to start serving his six-month sentence, for harassing IO Roger Seah Ming Hui, once his sentence is passed on 7th March 2024, as Prosecution won't be agreeable to bail pending appeal – given he has three other charges, and even he gets acquitted of this charge on appeal, the time he have served will count towards the sentences for other charges which will be tried while he's in jail.

You keep doing your nonsense both with Mr Vickreman Harvey Chettiar and all the meddling in Singapore's domestic matters, you will be revoked of your PR status and sent back to Ipoh after you've answered to all of the government's questions while Mr Vickreman Harvey Chettiar is serving his sentence safely in Changi Prison Complex.

Are these Singaporeans you're fighting for going to help you if you get yourself fucked over? Mr Vickreman Harvey Chettiar does not count as he won't be able to help you or anybody when he is serving his sentences in Institute B4 in Changi Prison Complex, and getting cured of his gender confusion.

Think about your family, do you think your parents want to go back to Malaysia after working hard so many years in Singapore to build a life? Leave your brother all alone in Singapore, no next-of-kin for him there.

This suggests that the operator was born on 18 February 2000.

In the messages below, "Ms Cheow" refers to Carissa Cheow. The redacted words are Carissa's birth name.

Let me advice you stop doing nonsense and filing these CPIB complaints upon the instigations of Mr Vickreman Harvey Chettiar and Ms Cheow [redacted]. They have each found their trouble with the government doesn't mean you've to join them and go down with them. Mr Vickreman Harvey Chettiar himself had originally only found trouble with the Christians in 2020, he did not need to find trouble with the government in 2021 by meddling with Ms Cheow [redacted].

Implicit Admission by Mercury Jamie Alice to Operating the "Hijirah Maker" Account

Upon being questioned by Carissa about the "Hijirah Maker" account, Mercury Jamie Alice, using a Telegram account bearing the @hgalice username which has for a long time been known to be and publicly claimed by Mercury to be the username of Mercury's main account, replied on 17 February 2024:

No longer relevant now, as I've been ordered to stand down in regard of Miss Vickreman so as not to inadvertently create an excuse for her to have her hired gun try to delay or frustrate the proceedings by applying to dislodge the main witness from testifying for the trial. The police are...

Hijirah Maker's Puppetmaster(s)

Unlike the original Hijirah Maker in 2013 and 2014, this Hijirah Maker has sent threats not to Kenneth Jeyaretnam, but to Carissa and Lune. The messages also have to do not with Kenneth Jeyaretnam, but with deterring Carissa and Lune from "interfering" in Harvey's criminal case. Who has a vested interest in ensuring that Harvey's trial is not postponed, and in fending off any doubt that Harvey's charges are not entirely fair or justified?

Why were Carissa and Lune targeted? Who is it that sees Carissa's public letters and Lune's CPIB complaints as a threat, and why would the letters and complaints be a problem if the charge against Harvey of "harassing Roger Seah" is clean and fair, and not the result of a fix-up?

It is notable that Hijirah Maker seems to already know the sentence being sought for Harvey ("six-month sentence"), that the "Prosecution won't be agreeable to bail pending appeal", and the basis for not agreeing to bail ("given that he has three other charges..."). Does the Prosecution or Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) have a hand in Hijirah Maker's messages, either by directing Hijirah Maker on what to say and what their position and intentions are so as to secure a conviction through intimidation, or by conveying their position and intentions to the ISD ("the same masters as...eleven years ago"), who would then convey those to Hijirah Maker to use? What does the Prosecution and/or the ISD have to lose from the trial being postponed, or from Harvey being acquitted at trial, or from Harvey being convicted initially and then acquitted upon appeal?

If the justice system is fair and the Prosecution is genuinely serving the public interest, then why are they trying to force a conviction outcome at all costs, even though it is clear that there has been extensive misconduct amounting to possible criminal offences on the part of Roger Seah and multiple other individuals, some of whom are in the AGC? What is the AGC going to do to clear any inevitable doubt that they had a hand in this, given that four people in the AGC (Rujan S/O Nagarajan, Parvathi Menon, Francis Ng, Lucien Wong; see our previous article for more details) are directly implicated in entrapping Harvey into incurring this charge?

If the Prosecution truly does have a solid case, why would there be a need to silence Carissa and Lune via Hijirah Maker? Carissa and Lune would not be seen as problems that could weaken the Prosecution's case if their case was genuinely watertight and there was no wrongdoing by Roger Seah and others connected. Conversely, if the Prosecution does not in fact have a solid case, then would it not be their duty to withdraw the charges, given that they cannot in fact prove the matters without reasonable doubt as to the conditions behind the alleged offence?

How could Carissa and Lune's actions in submitting letters to the AGC and CPIB complaints respectively be considered "political meddling", when criminal prosecutions are supposed to be independent of political pressure or influence? Surely, any person has the right to file any complaint against anyone, and to make any written representation to any body; if criminal prosecutions were genuinely independent, none of this would be considered political meddling.
